The Net is buzzing with continued rumors of a new Canon dSLR - 40D or d40 for typos. Some say official announcement to come tomorrow, Monday - Aug 20, with availability at the end of this month or early next.

Turning Japanese - Fujitsu LifeBook U810 UMPC

Fujitsu has announced $900 price tag for their UMPC called the U810. The folks at Gizmodo have some hands-on info.

In Japan, it's known as the LOOX U. The Intel CPU at less than 1 GHz might hurt. Although, gotta say it still looks very lust worthy. At that price, it's hard to complain...
