World's Slimmest Waterproof Cell Phone - Fujitsu

Fujitsu Systems announces the "world's slimmest waterproof" cell phone. Of course, this is available only in Japan.

Question, WHY?? Is your communication so important that you need a cell phone in the bath/shower? I'm sure I'm missing something here.

As usual, regular features such as microSD card input, music player, and camera are also included.

Who says a mouse can't be sexy?

Microsoft just released the Microsoft Wireless Notebook Presenter Mouse 8000. The sexy thing about this mouse is that it has a built-in laser pointer, controls for PowerPoint (presentations), and Windows Media Player controls (see next photo).



The only missing feature is a hand warmer! :)

Admittedly not a gadget, but whoa... How can I avoid pointing out this $8 Million Dollar ride from Maybach?!! More at this Fortune mag article.

Hmm, I've been thinking...and it seems that in order to get some good content, it's best to PURCHASE gadgets. There are some obstacles of course - gadget availability and cost - being the prime ones.

2007, and I'll have to think of some way to rectify this. any suggestions welcomed. :)

retro gadget

As CES starts to wind down...wanted to cover something that wasn't at CES this year or last. Reason being that the product is a Japan-only (AFAIK) product - Sony Hard-Disk DVD Recorder RDZ-D800.

One of the standout features is that you can program the recorder via cell phone!!! Check out this image. Again, this product along with the feature is Japan-only...but WOW, talk about convenience.

The Japan Market is already lucky to have, like Korea, DMB that is accessible by every gadget imaginable. But there *are* times when you just want to kick back in your sofa and watch your fav TV show with surround sound....
