XBox 360 does QWERTY

Yep, it's true. It's a week after April Fool's so it must be. :)

You will now be able to IM via your XBox 360 according to this press release. There will even be a new attachment for your controller to enable this (pictured).

Man, you can be trash-talking via voice, and at the same time IM'ing someone to set up another game of poker. How sweet is that?
